A considerable part of Nashville commercial spaces is solving the various puzzles that come with urban landscaping. Most recently, Greathouse was involved in the undertaking of a unique commercial project off of West End in Nashville.

The Space

The American Centers Office building needed an outdoor area that could withstand the ever-changing weather and climate of Middle Tennessee. This office space previously had an area that was a continuous eyesore with leaking dirt and standing water. A constant mucky mess and bad-looking matured plantings, this outdoor area needed a major revamp. When Greathouse began the project design, we knew that there would be a unique solution to the office’s problem.

The Solution

The final decision was to design together with a solution for the continual mess and cost of annual mulch. We developed an artistic rock garden focal point for the tenants, managers, and owners to enjoy.
