Bringing Your Ideas to Life

Our Design-Build Division

Meet Bob Chappin

The Greathouse Company’s Landscape Designer.

Professionally, Bob enjoys contributing to all stages of the landscape design process, from conception to execution, and he is passionate about creating visual design representations.

Landscape artistry is an extension of his passion for landscape as a living artistic medium that deepens and enriches people’s lives, bringing together aesthetics, form, and function. Landscape design specifically combines his love and knowledge of plants with the lessons learned from experience, the great outdoors, and travel.

Our Process

1

Qualify Greathouse

Is Greathouse a good fit for your project? Identify your budget, scope of work, and any pertinent information. We’ll then explain our design and installation process, take the design fee, and set an appointment for an initial design meeting.

2

Initial Design Meeting

Our sales rep and designer’s first meeting with you will be set to gather information about the project. From there, we set the initial design concept review date.

3

Initial Concept Review

The first design review is to ensure the project scope of work was captured and displayed properly. If needed, we’ll set up a second meeting to review revisions.

4

Revision Review

The second review is to ensure the changes made from the first concept meeting were captured accurately. The final concept review will then be set.

5

Final Concept Review

All revisions have been completed! The final design is presented in color with plants named. The proposal meeting is set shortly after that.

6

Proposal Meeting

In this meeting, we’ll review estimates with you based on the agreed-upon design.

7

Agreement

An agreement is made to officially secure your spot in our installation queue. A deposit will be required 4 weeks prior to the project’s official kick-off.

8

Kick-Off Meeting

The transition of communication and relationship to the Operations Division takes place.

9

C.A.R.E. Call

Our Customer Assurance Review Evaluation (C.A.R.E) will be conducted with your Greathouse rep after your Project Manager gives notice of completion. This meeting is to assure that all expectations were met.
